Alanna fell in love with paddle sports in high school while learning how to whitewater canoe and hasn't stopped since. She has a passion for teaching others and being outdoors. Alanna currently runs an outdoor leadership program at a career and technical education center teaching high school students the skills to become Maine Guides and safe outdoor enthusiasts.

Alanna currently holds the following licenses and certifications: ACA Level 3 Canoe Instructor, ACA Level 3 River Safety and Rescue Instructor, Registered Maine Recreational Guide, Level II Whitewater Guide, and a Wilderness First Responder. She has previously held her ACA Whitewater Kayak Instructor license as well.
